Maeva Lambert and Elena Vertegel

Elena Vertegel.   

Born in 1989. Originally from Ukraine. Based in Lisbon, Portugal.
Dancer, performer, choreographer
Elena studies and deploys her creativity in dance and music from an early age. She get graduated from “Perfomact” in 2017 http://untamedproductions.wixsite.com/performact .
She recently assisted and performed with Claire Huber staging in P.A.R.T.S. (Belgium), and acted as a director/choreographer in the dance performance “Rescue of archon”, by UDT (Ukrainian Dance Theatre)
She performed in “Adur” by Jorge Jauregui Allue (Ultima Vez); “Du six” by Erez Zohar (Batsheva dance company), worked for the Goethe Institut , Germany ; “American circus”, Italy; collaborated with Thomas Mettler, Switzerland among others….
Beside her creative and scenic experiences Elena develops pedagogical principles and conveys her vision of dance through work with the temporal and semantic aspects of action. She is cooperating and giving workshops in “Point of Creation”, Ukraine, and recently assisted to Rob Hayden in Ultima Vez, Belgium.
This days Elena continues to collaborate with “JA international theatre” in Portugal and building up the project ” No title ” with the Belgian artist Maeva Lambert.

Maeva Lambert.    

Born in 1990 in Mistelbach (Austria). Based in Brussels since 2010. Self-taught, dancer, performer and author, Maeva Lambert works on the image and the body. Passionate about watercolour, she recently studied art history and practices video and sound editing. Close to Ultima Vez studios, she trained mainly with Inaki Azpillaga, whom she considers as her mentor. She will join the intensive program "Performact" in 2016 - 2017 in Portugal, guided by Gonzalo Ferreira and Ricardo Ambriozo. She was part of Eric Chapelle's Batick Soundpainting Orchestra, co- created the theatre-dance collective "Les Dévoyées" with Lauranne Pardoen, Caroline Kempeners and Claire Mellier. Since 2018, she has been developing her choreographic approach in close collaboration with Elena Vertegel. Involved in projects as a choreographer with Sebastien De Buyl (documentary film), Angel Baux Godard, Tara Beckers and Florence Hebbelynck. Co-author of " QUIZAS " company Amare with Amandine Vandroth in public space. Her experiences and artistic involvement in the street performance aspire her to shake up the forms and codes of conventional theatre.
