VAZIAS is an artistic research project where Beatriz Pereira and Carolina Sendim propose to question and reflect about the creation and production formulas present in the performing arts scene. Facing the will to preserve their artistic identities, feeling out of sync with a labour market full of formulas that try to reach success, but that restrict the freedom and identity of each artist, VAZIAS is a creative research proposal that puts these formulas in question, in an attempt to understand the artistic emptiness that their constant application can cause. Do we want to continue applying these formulas? Where is our identity represented in these formulas? What and who do these formulas serve?
