Gaya de Medeiros

Gaya de Medeiros is a trans woman, dancer, drag queen, choreographer, producer and director.
Training in Animation Cinema (UFMG,2014), Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance and Dramaturgy(Grupo Galpão 2018). She worked as a dancer at Cia de Dança do Palácio das Artes for 9 years(2010-2018, BR). Gaya created 3 solos ("É o amor outra vez", "Proteína Desnaturada" and "After Party") and was co-founder and producer of Rede Sola de dança. She worked as choreographer for Drag Taste Lisbon (2019-2021, PT). In 2021 she founded BRABA.platform that aims to support, enable and fund initiatives focused on the Trans/Non-binary community.
