Diana de Sousa
Diana de Sousa, holds a degree in Theatre/Acting from ESMAE – School of Music, Arts and Performing Arts, Porto, within the Vasco da Gama Programme. She also completed the Artistic Education Course at the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre, Portugal. The final project of the course was the "Bilingue" Theatre, by Pedro Zegre Penim and José Maria Vieira Mendes, within the scope of the “NÓS - território (es)cénico Portugal Galicia”. The theatre, she has worked with Gonçalo Amorim in "Pantagruel" (TEP / A Oficina), Fernando Rubio in "Todo lo que está a mi lado" (FITEI), appearing in "A cidade onde a chuva mora", Má Companhia/Teatro Assédio and "RABBITS "By Pedro Baptista and co-produced by the MalaVoadora. In cinema she hás worked with André Marques, Gabe Klinger and Vasco Mendes, among others. She created and directed the project "TRAVESSA DA ESPERA” in 2017, and its first edition was included in the Programa Cultura em Expansão, which received Porto City Hall support. In 2018, she conceived and staged “bela_adormecida”, co-hosted by RIVOLI - Teatro Municipal do Porto and included in FITEI's program.
