THE PAIN OF ALL EMPTY STREETS
Tiago Vieira

It is a compliment to the marginal body and to poetry. It is a compliment to identity and the right to the margin.

A DOR DE TODAS AS RUAS VAZIAS is Tiago Vieira's new play based on Al Berto's work that celebrates ten years of intense work in staging.  A DOR DE TODAS AS RUAS VAZIAS is a praise to the marginal body, to poetry and its intimate relation with cinema, it is a praise to identity and the right to the margin, it is a crossing, a pilgrimage through places of abandonment, it is a phantasmagoria, it is a map of bodies, it is a complex urban symphony of desire and spaces of solitude, it is the film of an hallucination, traces of dreams, wandering bodies. Al Berto as a way of resisting the desertification of beings and places, an attempt to return to an impossible childhood and the crime of wishing to reinvent love.
