The Death of the Seagull that turned out to be a Swan (Announcements)

I have this project of turning myself into a bird: let's call it an obsession or, for the more restrained, a very violent desire. 
Never have the exercise of freedom, the resistance of poetry seemed so vital to me. The dedication to the "impossible" asserts itself as a necessary craft. I've been reading "time of the heart," the correspondence between Ingeborg Bachmann and Paul Celan: for years they dug out the imperfect words to tell each other the profound complexity of what united them always and nevertheless. They wished to be each other's bright fish. 
Not giving in to distance is the only direction I want to go, working towards an "ever closer".
